Around the house. Under the eaves.
Spider Control Brisbane Get on top of spider activity.
Webs returning around the windows? Spiders in the garage or outdoor furniture? Debugged Pest Control checks where the activity is, treats suitable areas and explains what you can do to help keep it down.
Servicing Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Redlands, Moreton Bay and the Gold Coast.
Point out the places that concern you. Illustration only.
Where to start
A web at the window. A spider under the chair.
The location matters. Tell us whether you are seeing webs in the same places, spiders moving indoors or activity around areas your family uses.
The same corners keep filling up
Point out recurring webs around frames, eaves, fences and sheltered corners. Photos taken before cleaning can help show the pattern. A web on its own does not tell us which spider made it or whether it is still occupied.
Activity where hands and feet go
Let us know about spiders beneath outdoor furniture, around stored equipment or near play areas. Keep children and pets away from suspect spiders and avoid reaching into hidden spaces to investigate.
Spiders moving through the house
Note the room, time and possible entry point. A wandering spider needs a different assessment from repeated web-building activity. A photograph from a safe distance is useful; there is no need to handle the spider.
You do not need to know the species before calling.
Describe what you have seen and where. We can discuss the next step without asking you to get close enough to check markings or disturb a retreat.
Common spiders around homes
Different spiders use different spaces.
These are examples, not a complete identification guide. Size, colour or web shape alone is not enough to judge whether an unfamiliar spider is dangerous.
Redback spiders
Redbacks can use dry, sheltered places around buildings and stored items. Mention activity beneath outdoor furniture, in sheds or near equipment. Leave suspected redbacks undisturbed and tell us where they are.
Black house spiders
These spiders often build lacy, untidy webs around window frames and crevices. Their web retreats can have funnel-shaped openings, but that does not make them Australian funnel-web spiders.
Huntsman spiders
Huntsmans hunt rather than build prey-catching webs. They can turn up on walls or behind objects indoors. Tell us about repeated sightings and entry gaps; treating web sites alone does not address every wandering spider.
White-tailed spiders
White-tailed spiders hunt other spiders and can shelter among objects or clothing. If you find one indoors, note the location and avoid handling it. Identification is more useful than assuming every skin mark came from a spider.

Your spider control appointment
Check the problem areas. Treat with a plan.
Spiders are included in our general pest service. We discuss the activity and access first, then explain the areas to be treated and any practical changes that would help.
Inspect the places you have noticed
Show us affected windows, eaves, garages and outdoor areas. Mention spiders inside the house, previous treatments and any webs or egg sacs you have seen. We check accessible locations and discuss anything we cannot reach safely.
Agree on the treatment and price
We explain the proposed coverage and preparation before work begins. Tell us about children, pets, fish ponds, aquariums and food preparation areas, as well as any high or difficult-to-access sections of the property.
Treat suitable activity and shelter areas
Where appropriate, treatment targets spider activity and suitable resting or web sites using a product registered for the purpose. Placement depends on the assessment, surface and label directions. We explain the plan for accessible webs and any egg sacs identified.
Explain aftercare and what to watch for
Your digital service report records the work and recommendations. We explain cleaning, re-entry and monitoring instructions, including when to contact us about continuing activity. Any follow-up arrangements or warranty conditions are confirmed for your service.
Between treatments
Less shelter. Fewer ways inside.
Treatment is one part of managing activity. A few changes around the house can help too.
Check screens and gaps
Repair damaged flyscreens and review gaps around doors and windows. Screens can help keep out spiders and the insects they feed on. Ask about awkward openings rather than blocking ventilation or drainage.
Make storage easier to inspect
Reduce clutter along garage walls and around the outside of the house. Keep stored items organised and check before moving boxes or equipment. Wear gloves for outdoor work and avoid putting bare hands into hidden spaces.
Notice where insects gather
Insects around windows and outdoor lights can attract feeding spiders. Tell us if the same lit areas repeatedly collect webs, so the surrounding conditions can be considered alongside treatment.

Preparing for the service
What to do before and after treatment
Your booking instructions take priority. We will explain which areas need access and when people and pets can return.
Before we arrive
- Note recurring web sites and keep useful photos.
- Ask before removing webs; they can help show where activity is occurring.
- Make agreed areas accessible without disturbing suspect spiders.
- Tell us about ponds, aquariums, pets and sensitive areas.
- Mention planned window cleaning, pressure washing or painting.
After the treatment
- Follow the drying and re-entry directions provided.
- Remove webs only at the time advised for your service.
- Check before washing treated surfaces.
- Record fresh webs and sightings, including their locations.
- Contact us if activity continues beyond the period discussed.
Old webs and fresh activity are different things.
A remaining web is not, by itself, proof that treatment has failed. Once the advised web-cleaning time has passed, noting new webs can make ongoing activity easier to describe. Ask us if you are unsure what should be removed or left alone.
Common questions
Spider treatment, explained.
What is included, how to prepare and what happens afterwards.
Ask about your spider problem →Is spider control included in general pest treatment?
Yes. Our general pest service includes spiders, cockroaches, silverfish and many common ants. Tell us about the spider activity when booking so we can confirm coverage and access. The starting price is subject to your property and the agreed service.
Should I remove webs before you arrive?
Ask us first. Web locations can help with the inspection, and cleaning needs to fit the treatment plan. We will explain when to remove webs after the visit. Do not disturb a suspected dangerous spider to prepare for us.
Will one treatment stop every spider coming back?
No treatment can guarantee that a spider will never enter from outside. Results depend on the spider, access, surfaces and conditions around the property. We explain the expected response and when continuing activity should be reviewed.
Can you help with huntsman spiders inside?
Yes. Tell us how often you see them and where. Wandering spiders may need entry-point and shelter advice as well as assessment of the activity. A single sighting does not automatically mean the whole house needs treatment.
Do you treat outdoor furniture, sheds and garages?
Tell us which areas are affected when you request a quote. We confirm what can be inspected and treated, any access limits and how to prepare furniture or stored equipment. Inclusion depends on the agreed scope and suitable treatment surfaces.
Is treatment safe around children and pets?
Let us know who uses the property, including pets, fish ponds and aquariums. We discuss preparation, placement and re-entry instructions for the products used. Follow those directions and keep people and animals away from treatment areas until advised.
How often should I arrange spider control?
The right interval depends on activity and property conditions. We can discuss ongoing general pest servicing and review the result of this visit. Contact us sooner if a particular area is causing concern rather than waiting for a fixed calendar date.
What if I still see spiders afterwards?
Keep a note of when and where, and whether you see fresh webs. Contact us with the service date so we can review the report and advise what comes next. Any included follow-up and warranty terms are confirmed for your booking.
